Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease:250mg q12hr (maximum dose 20mg/day). Use as adjunctive therapy. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GORD) is a disease in which the Esophageal Syndrome is suspected. In a clinical study of 625mg patients, there were no adverse reactions seen with the use of ketoprofen. Use only for the short-term treatment of persistent symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease. GORD is treated with acid suppression and the patient is asked to tolerate lower doses of gastric acid over time. Lower doses of acid are usually taken together with gastric surgery. The daily dose should be taken at the same time every day. Gastric disaccharidosis may occur following lower doses of gastric acid or lower doses of ketoprofen.
